Introducing the new Operations Dashboard

A clearer way to manage your daily order operations

Merchants can now get full visibility into their order operations with the new Operations Dashboard. It gives CX and operations teams a real-time overview of everything happening behind the scenes, making it easier to stay in control and resolve issues before they affect customers.

The dashboard brings several improvements together in one place:

A complete overview at a glance

A 7-day trend graph visualizes all completed operations — deliveries, cancellations, refunds, releases, and compensations. It helps teams quickly understand how volume has changed over the past week and spot unusual patterns that might need attention. Include or exclude operations to get a granular view.

Immediate insight into issues

Failed operations are highlighted in a dedicated section. Clicking an entry opens a detailed view of the failed action:

  • the affected order
  • what went wrong
  • which provider failed
  • and what next step to take

Merchants can retry the operation directly from this view, which reduces back-and-forth and helps keep customers informed without delay.

Clear approval flows

Operations that require sign-off before they run appear in an Approval needed section. This works tightly with Brink Commerce’s role-based access control:

  • cx-users can create operations
  • cx-admins approve and start them

The result is a built-in, lightweight approval process that supports teams with clear responsibilities and reduces the risk of unintended actions.

The approval screens make this easy. When reviewing an operation, cx-admins can:

  • inspect order details
  • review payment and delivery data
  • choose whether the action should run automatically, be logged manually, or be skipped
  • finalize or restart the operation with one click

It’s a simple setup that adds safety without slowing work down.

Stay on top of active workflows

The Pending operations section shows what is currently running. This helps teams keep track of high-volume processes and ensures everything is moving as expected.

Whether you’re handling refunds after a high-traffic campaign or managing deliveries across multiple markets, the Operations Dashboard is designed to make complex workflows easier to oversee. The UI mirrors the real flow of CX work: check the queue, review the details, resolve issues, approve what needs to run, and move on.
