Brink for AI Agents

A commerce foundation built for agents, not bolted on for them

Most platforms treat AI agents as an afterthought, a chatbot wrapped around a dashboard. Brink was built as independent microservices behind documented, event-driven APIs from day one, the same architecture that makes agentic commerce possible without a rebuild.

>Built for what's next

Why merchants choose Brink for agentic commerce

If you couldn't imagine an agent owning a domain on its own, it's not a domain, it's a bottleneck. Brink is built around domains an agent can reason about independently.

Ready for whats next

Clear domain boundaries

Product, pricing, stock, and shopper orchestration are separate services, each with clean data contracts, so an agent can act on one without needing to understand the rest of the platform.

Handle peak demand

Safe experimentation at scale

Modular deploys mean a pricing agent testing a change, or a campaign agent adjusting a rule, doesn't risk the systems it isn't touching.

Autoscaling microservices

Elastic capacity for agent traffic

Serverless infrastructure auto-scales for unpredictable, bursty agent-driven API calls, no manual provisioning ahead of time, and no permanent over-capacity paid for year-round.

Ready for AI agents

Real-time event fabric

Every meaningful change, a price update, a stock movement, an order status, publishes an event immediately, so agents react to what's happening instead of polling for it.

Governance that doesn't get looser for agents

An agent should never be able to do more than the person it's acting on behalf of.

Same access model for people and scripts

Agents authenticate through the same OAuth2 scoped-client model as any other system, so access is deliberately granted, not assumed.

Role-based permission parity

If a user's role can't issue a refund in the interface, an agent operating under that role can't either. Permissions don't loosen just because the caller isn't human.

Full audit trail with attribution

Every action is logged and attributed, whether it came from a user, a client, the platform itself, or a workflow, so agent activity is traceable exactly like human activity.

Blocking custom states

Agents can attach a hold to a specific order or product, pausing fulfillment or a price change until a person reviews it, without needing a special code path built for automation.

Real agentic workflows

What our architecture actually enables you to build today.

Automated inventory guardrails

Agents can watch stock events, out of stock, back in stock, inventory updates, per SKU, and attach a blocking state before a risky order ever reaches the warehouse.

Proactive order modifications

When a logistics event signals a delay, an agent can modify the order before delivery, swap a delayed item for one available elsewhere, and keep the customer informed, using the same modification operation available to your ops team.

Price experimentation across markets

Agents can test pricing strategies by writing changes through the API and watching conversion, then roll out what works to other markets or store groups using the same multi-market configuration a person would use.

Autonomous catalog enrichment

Agents can validate product data against events and complete missing attributes through the Management API, keeping marketplace feeds current without someone doing it by hand.

Our journey is just starting, and we saw a need to take the next step to reach even more markets, to create a relationship with our global customers. Brink Commerce and its products will allow us to do that wherever we decide to go next and whatever the next trend is. We always have an eye on tomorrow, and we have found a partner that can help us now - and most importantly - in the future.

BRINK COMMERCE MCP

Run commerce operations through your own agents - Brink Commerce MCP

Order and customer service, in natural language

Search orders, look up customers, check product availability, and view active campaigns, without opening the portal.

Real OMS operations

Create shipments, process refunds and cancellations, and move orders through custom states, the same operations a person would perform, just requested differently.

Campaign and discount reasoning

Create, modify, and monitor promotional rules, and ask the agent how two rules would interact before you turn either one on.

The same permissions, the same audit trail

Every action passes the same role-based permissions and API validation a human user has, and everything is logged with full attribution. Nothing an agent does happens outside the rules that already govern your team.

What this means for you

Agents you can actually trust with operations

Not a chatbot that summarizes a dashboard, an agent that can act, inside the same permissions your team already has.

Faster response to demand and disruption

Agents react to events in real time, a stock risk, a pricing opportunity, a shipping delay, instead of waiting for someone to notice in a report.

No rebuild required

The architecture running your platform today, microservices, events, scoped access, already supports this. Agentic commerce is additive, not a re-platform.
